Wow, I still can not believe that we have a second grader! Ethan is growing up on us way too fast. During the summer he didn’t even want to hear about school starting back up, but once he got to see his new classroom and meet his teacher things got better. He even got up all excited about going back to school. And I am very happy about his teacher- she has kids, her husband is in the army and she’s been teaching for 8 years. And after the first day Ethan liked her too, so it looks very promising.
I will miss him a bunch though, he has the silliest sense of humor- his jokes are more practical then funny, but makes me laugh, I think it just could be genetic heritage from me, what was passed on to me from my mom- we are a silly bunch when we get together and no one else is laughing but us.
Other school year has started and we will make the best out of it! 
Hes growing so fast. Im glad to hear he likes his teacher and you do to, thats always a plus!!
